Keeping Busy...

I have been trying to busy myself the last week, and make plans for upcoming weekends. The boyfriend & I decided to end our 6 1/2 year relationship the day before Valentines Day. Luckily V-Day has never been a big thing for us, and this year I was at my first ever festival (Good Vibes!) so I was distracted. I've been surprisingly well, what has helped the most is the amazing support from my family + friends! Since Saturday however I have been spending spending spending! Which needs to come to an end as I'm hoping to save up for a home!

Fashion mags/fresh baked scones & plenty of chocolate are my comfort items.

Some of my recent purchases - Sugar Baby glitter eyeliners, Sportsgirl bow beanie, Equip earrings & wrap bracelet, Cotton On bow back dress + Big W ballet flats & across body bag.





This past weekend I kept busy with spending lots of time with my beautiful friends;
Friday night - San Churros in Leedy & late night shopping with Monique
Saturday - Meeting with a real estate agent in the morning/Cuddly Animal Farm in the afternoon/cocktails/clubbing/dancing/many laughs + Maccas breaky with the girls & heading to bed at sunrise.
Sunday - Nursing a terrible hangover with plenty of sleep, movies & chocolate.

I have plenty to look forward to in the upcoming weeks;
-AC/DC Concert on the 6th of March!!
-Puppetry of the Penis on the 13th. I have heard this show is hilarious.
-Plenty of long weekends!
-Road trip down south with the girls with wine tours/chocolate factory/beaching/relaxing.
-Picnics/beaching/op shopping/eating out + photo taking
-Lady GaGa concert on 1st April - Hoping I can snag tickets!
-Jam Fest 2010 with Akon, Kelly Rowland & Pitbull on April 18th =)

Real Life Style Icon

When I am not perusing blogs/lookbooks/magazines, I am checking out trendy ladies' facebook/myspace pages. The beautiful Elena has been a facebook friend of mine for a few years - I randomly discovered her on myspace & was captivated by her stylish photos. I am completely inspired & jealous when I check out her photos. She has kindly allowed me to share with you my favourite outfit pictures from her late 2009 honeymoon in US! 















My absolute fave outfits are the pink Docs & the tie dye jeans! I can't wait for winter!

Every day should be a weekend

The past few weekends have been amazing, spending lots of time with friends, enjoying the sunshine, heading out for drinks with friends, + taking some shots with my new camera. This weekend just gone the bestie & I cured our hang overs with Sunday Sizzler breakfast, then a trip down to Rockingham for a late lunch, to relax on the beach + swim til 9.30pm. The next day my friend Monique & I braved the heat to visit the zoo + took a few shots of the animals. The elephants were my favourites :) For Australia day we headed to my brothers friends house for pre drinks, & then we were meant to head down to the foreshore to watch the fireworks, unfortunately a few of us lost track of time & ended up staying on having more drinks. Here are a few pics from the weekend...

New Shades

As mentioned in my last post, I purchased a few pairs of sunnies whilst on holidays. The folding Wayfarers are probably my favourites as they're so compact, have a cute little pouch, they're comfortable + actually suit me, where as the normal Wayfarers didn't.








OPI Strawberry Margarita is my fave shade for summer. I don't know what I did before OPI Drip Dry! This stuff is great, dries super fast & no more smudges! I really recommend this!



I've been playing around with my new camera, learning how to use it etc so expect some posts in the future with some of my test shots. All of the above were taken on my new camera. :)

I start my new job tomorrow, a little nervous & excited at the same time. Met with my team on Friday and they all seem like lovely people. Better get to bed so I'm all fresh for my first day. Hope everyone has a great week! :)
