What's in My Bag

I've always enjoyed seeing photos of what people carry in their bags. It's amazing the amount of stuff we fit in there. 

I've been using the Mimco Button Bag in Mercury for the past couple of months. I had been lemming the button bag for years, but never bought it as it is quiet expensive. When this one popped up on ebay I decided to finally purchase it. I got it for $280 including postage, which is still expensive, but much better than $450! I think it was a great investment as I get so much use out of it, and can fit a lot of stuff in there - it's great for work!

Nothing to do with what's in my bag, but I wanted to share this picture I took of the sky yesterday as I was leaving work. The clouds were so pretty!

Recent Purchases

Thanks to Mr Rudd for funding some of my recent purchases. I hadn't been shopping for a while so went a bit over the top, but managed to get a few things I needed or had my eye on. 

I have wanted a nude pair of heels for some time, originally having my eye on the Peeptoe Miss Buckinghams but not wanting to spend $250. I noticed these Boston Babe heels at Shoe Show for only $80 so snapped them up.

On my way to the check out I spotted these black studded flats. I'm not usually a ballet flats girl as they give me blisters, but these are so soft & comfortable I couldn't resist.

I also thought they'd go well with my Witchery Max Stud Bag which I bought a few weeks back & Sportsgirl studded belt.

I couldn't resist these Mimco Crystal Pearl Studs that have been on my wishlist for a few months. 

 And while my brother was purchasing a shirt at Live Clothing I picked up these crystal earrings by The Cats Meow for only $12. They are so sparkly in real life :)

I also got this black pleather jacket from Jeanswest. I was hoping Target would sell the leather jackets again this year as I was too slow last winter, but haven't seen anything yet, so took the plunge as this Jeanswest jacket is so soft & warm. 

And last but not least, I bought these Mimco Pearl Cluster Drop earrings off ebay for only

 $55! (I love earrings!)

There have been a few other random purchases of late that I will upload shortly. There are still a few things on my wishlist for winter which I will also do a post about in the near future. :)

Welcome to my first ever blog! :)

As an avid reader of blogs for the past year or so, I had toyed with the idea of starting my own. My biggest concern was that people wouldn't find it interesting, & that I wouldn't know what to post about. I have taken the plunge & decided to start as many of my fave blogs have inspired me & I want to use this as a means to get more creative.  I'm hoping this will be a collection of fashion & make up posts, things that inspire me, wishlists & art & random photos.
